Looks like we're in the exactly the opposite predicament, Chris.
You got 5 RB's worth a shit, 3 really good, and I got 5 WR's worth a shit, 3 really good. Plus I just picked up Percy Harvin, and who knows what he'll be once he starts playing again.
I actually feel pretty good with Alfred Morris and Zac Stacy as my RB's, but my only backup RB is Mike James who took Doug Martin's spot after the injury, and he's just been slightly below average so far. So I think we can figure something out.
Boomslangs are troubled to announce their second coaching suicide this season. Easily confused DC 'Pig' Hickenlooper, despondent over starting two players on their bye week, apparently added cyanide to his chewing tobacco last night. Coach Hickenlooper will be replaced by 'Crazy Joe' Fazio. Fazio was the former TE coach at the Lake Erie Institute of Dredging and Draglining.
Why not trot out Aaron Rodgers for the playoffs? All offers considered.
I'm on a roll. 5 in a row and leading in total points and taken over 1st place with a 7-3 record.
I've made 48 moves. My defense only has 3 guys from my original draft, and my offense only has 4 guys from my original draft.
I've gotten lucky with pickups like Kiko Alonzo, Alec Ogletree, Chandler Jones, and Meangelo Hall on defense. Zac Stacy, Jordan Cameron, Alshon Jeffrey, Andre Brown, and even Nick Foles on offense.
I'm just getting really consistent points from everyone. Other than Calvin Johnson, I have no super stars putting up crazy points. They're all just consistently average and it all adds up to a ton when the games are over.
I've hardly had to make any moves. Other than injuries, my original draft was so strong, I feel, there was little to mess with. I was surprised how strong of a defensive draft I was able to get away with.
I've made 11 moves. 5 due to lost players to IR (including JJ which hurt), 2 to get a kicker in for the bye, and 1 when Ed Reed decided he had made enough money not to play any more. So, really strong draft for me.
Some playoff clarity is needed. Right now the top 6 teams are the top two Hammy Holders and the top four Groin Grabbers. While the 'Scoring and Settings' field denotes the top seeds are to be the division winners, it does not guarantee that the divisions get an equal number of berths. It also does not offer tie breakers. Head to head sounds good to me. The Setting 'Playoff reseeding--yes' is also opaque.
Boomslangs announce that Jimbo Thimblebender, Vice President in charge of Playoff Scenario Projection, has resigned in order to spend more time with his family. Jimbo is the last surviving Thimblebender.
I'm having a tough time deciding on who to start against you this week, Greg.
I have 3 good WR's, 3 good RB's, and 2 good TE's. Not sure which WR or RB to put in the flex slot or which TE to start. Seem like every week one or two of the guys I start puts up like 5 points and the guy I left on the bench puts up 30.
