Antone Smith showed some things in a reserve role for the Falcons late in the fourth quarter. The special teams ace had a 50-yard touchdown sprint up the middle -- his first career touchdown -- and led the team with 88 yards on just two carries. Smith had just one carry for 8 yards for the season coming into the game.

If we run block consistently, we do well. If we don't, we suck. Just because Antoine Smith ran the ball a couple times does not mean he is the next coming of Adrian Peterson. Just because Snelling is good at making something out of nothing, doesn't mean he is a starting quality RB (he actually might be?). Just because Vaughn had a nice preseason and was the last RB to touch the ball last week does not mean he should be our starter this week.Have you ever considered that by the time Antoine Smith (not to mention all the other depth players we used) were in the game, we really had no chance and both coaching staffs knew it? Do you think scoring 4 touchdowns in 7 minutes of football is realistic?Do you honestly think our coaching staff put in depth players with hopes of winning that game? Can you seriously sit here and say that if we had started our third, fourth, or fifth string OL, RBs, WRS, QBs, DL, or S we would have won more games this season? The reason these guys don't get more snaps is because the coaching staff knows that the majority of our issues running the ball have NEVER been about the running back. Not even when Turner started trashing it up last season, or the season before. Being pissed about us losing games is one thing, burying your head in the sand and ranting because we don't bench our starters in favor of backups is something else entirely.I am pissed that Dom Davis didn't get more snaps this season. He looked so good last week. Lets let him start next week. How fucking retarded does that sound?
Holy fucking shit....
