Huevos Grandes (2-1, 459.77 points) defeated Boomslangs (2-1, 475.53 points) 153.81 - 139.16 in a matchup with four lead changes. They also put up the second-highest score this week. Boomslangs scored first and went into Sunday in front 29.40 - 0. That lead disappeared by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed 69.85 - 62.56. After the late Sunday games, the lead swung back the other way to 42.11. However, Huevos Grandes pulled out the victory with a comeback on Monday night.
The Boomslangs are saddened to report the tragic suicide of Defensive Co-ordinator Reginald 'Hacksaw' Wackenbush. Wackenbush apparently tied his hands behind his back and plunged through a plate glass window on the fortieth floor of the Boomslang Building. In a typewritten note 'Hacksaw' blamed himself for letting Frank Gore gain 153 yards Thursday night.
Head Coach 'Rocky' Throckmorton announce that 'Pig' Hickenlooper has been named the new DC. 'Pig' is the former defensive backs coach at Florida Underwater.

Huevos Grandes registered the highest point total in the league this week on the way to their third consecutive win when they beat Drathdon Attack 174.31 - 145.46. They've climbed from sixth place to take over first since the beginning of the streak in Week 3. They're doing it by scoring a lot of points and they own the second-highest overall point total in the league, averaging 161.22 points per matchup. The outcome might have been different, Drathdon Attack had two starters score zero points (Patrick Willis and Akeem Dent). Drathdon Attack falls to fifth place with a 3-2 record. Huevos Grandes has now run over Boomslangs (153.81 - 139.16) and Swamp Dragons (172.03 - 121.43).
