Sometime back several of you checked out some of my son's music and mentioned to keep you up to date. He established a SoundCloud site with some of his covers a couple of months ago. He'll be adding to it. Give me your input. So far all the recordings are totally him singing and playing all parts.

Music.... I've been getting into Capital Cities. Just enjoy their music and the videos are pretty refreshing as well.

As I said, I would keep y'all up to date. A local producer has invited Cameron to record his first album (I guess they are CD's or iTune listings, now) this summer. The producer is Brady Blade, brother of multiple Grammy winner Brian Blade. Brady has played with artists himself such as Emmylou Harris, Dave Matthews, Jewel, Indigo Girls, etc. It will be an EP with four of his originals and one cover of a Macie Gray of his choice. I think Brady has some sort of an arrangement with Gray and her music. Brady said that Cameron "would kick Ed Sheeran's ass in a singing competition." I ain't one to argue with the man. I'll be posting more here as it becomes available.

Here is a ReverbNation page with three other originals. The third one, Jealousy, will be one of the originals on the EP. They will be recording as Cameron Merrell and the ??? (still to be determined).

He's a rebel. Even with, or because of, the constant presence of the Saints he became an Eagles fan early. I think he may come back around one of these days.
