The absolute worst call (or should I say non-call) last year was the pick 6 on Ryan. They knocked Roddy to the ground so they could swoop in and intercept and it wasn't called. Totally cost us so much. Possession + 7points to the Aints. To top it off - it put the crowd into a frenzy - which didn't help us at all.

The second worst call was the call on Grimes. They were 3-10 on the 40 and this call nullified an interception (sure can't say he wasn't going for the ball on this one) and put them on the 12 yard line with a 1st and 10.

The only reason I ordered them that way is the first was a score to them directly from the non-called penalty - the second one just set them up to score - we should have stopped them anyway - they scored on 3rd and 19 after having 1st and 10.

When you start thinking about the officials, you're already beaten. Anyone remember the Eric Gregg/Livan Hernandez debacle in the Braves / Marlins series? In that game, the Braves let Gregg get into their head and adjusted too late. The Saints' luck will eventually run out. Roddy White has earned the respect of the officials and gets his fair share of free push-offs, just like all of the other great receivers. They just need to keep their head in the game and don't let a bad call make them lose focus. It's going to happen, just a matter of when.

Refs are always going to favor the home team. You have to expect that. I always assume the the home field refs are going to account for 3 points for the home team.

I have to say that I am still angry about the "phantom muff" we got screwed over on in Philly 2 yrs ago. Not saying that one play cost us the game, but that one play probably cost us that game. I know it's water under the bridge or whatever but hell, throw us a friggin bone here.
