Big Wayne Gandy

I noticed that Gandy got quite a bit of playing time today, in particular for someone who admittedly was not in ‘football shape’. I didn’t hear that Wiener was hurt, so it made me wonder if they were just trying to give Gandy some time to get a little game experience against a not too threatening D Line. Bad news is that he got beat for a sack. Good news is that besides that play, he seemed to hold his own. Although OAK isn’t a particularly good defense, Big Wayne played okay. So far - seems like a good pick up with the Baker situation.
