The easiest way to damage a young QB is to put him a situation where failure is eminent. Ryan has the potential to be great, but he is getting painted as the savior of our team in his first year. Ask John Joseph Harrington what happens when a young QB is seen as the savior of a struggling franchise. It would be best for Ryan to sit the first half of the season and watch. We are not trying to win now, we are trying to build a future.

When has Norwood been given his shot? The only reason Dunn has been starting is cause of his contract but Norwood is clearly a talented back..Yes he does seem to get nicked up and tends to get injured but spending big money on a rb when in all reallity its not that much of a need. Of course I would like to add depth at the position and bring in a short yardage back but not make a splash in free agency with a running back..

He has the football smarts to get the ball out of his hand and read the defense. This is something Michael Vick did not comprehend and the same with Harrington and the wind up motion of Bryon Leftwich . These incable QBS lead to numerous unwanted sacks. I always said a great QB who understands the game makes his oline better . Of course our oline needs work but having a QB like Ryan who from everyone says has all the intagaibles and the work ethic will only improve our oline . I bet when we see him play our sacks will drop drastically . He might go through his rookie struggles but holding onto the ball is not one of them

Remember the last time we played the Raiders? It was in The Dome and we won 35-10. T. J. Duckett had 4 rushing touchdowns. It was the last great game for Duckett in a Falcons uniform. Right after that is when he became Tinkel Toes Duckett. Don’t you like me miss the old Duckett?
