Curtis Lofton - 39 Tackles, Leads All Rookies.

Has a team in the NFL ever had both Defensive and Offensive Rookies Of The Year on the same season ?

Well, I think we can be the first to do this. {If it hasn’t been done yet.}

Curtis Lofton:

Curtis Lofton leads all NFL Defensive Rookies with tackles. {39.}

And also has a Forced Fumble and a few passes deflected.

If he continues his strong play, and gets a few turnovers he will have a good chance at the award.

Matt Ryan:

The most talked about rookie this season so far.

Is bringing light to a franchise that was going the wrong direction.

If he stays healthy all season, and we finish with a good record, or even a playoff record.

He can win the award by default.

So I think both Matt and Curtis will be awarded for Rookies Of The Year.
