If The Saints make a chipshot, Roddy doesn't chase down Pacman (Edit..Clements) and we dont stop the Bucs on 4th and goal.. we are 3-5. This team is resiliant as hell.

EDIT.. this isnt a DISS to the Falcons!!! LOL... READ THE LAST SENTENCE OF MY POST!!!!

And if not for a handful of plays we are 8-0. What's your point?

Not sure if this was supposed to be a positive thread or not, btw....

Everyone likes to bring up Hartley's chipshot. Obviously it was critical, but the fluke punt off DeCoud's leg should negate that. The Ain'ts would have lost handedly if not for that play.

Not trying to dismiss your point, I just get tired of hearing about that missed kick on ESPN and NFLN every week when the "experts" are discussing our position in the NFC South.

If the Bucs scored with 2 Minutes left to play, you don't think the Falcons could have made a FG?

Impossible to play the what if game. Footbal is a game of inches. Over time the breaks even out. Ugly wins happen as much as close losses. The better teams find a way to win.

Can't blame the refs, can't balme the media, can't blame the fans. Good teams win in spite of everything. Falcons are becoming a good team.

Roddy stripped Nate Clements (sp). Pacman stripped Roddy.
As it has been said time and time again though, the saints were lucky to be in that game, if it were not for Decoud's foot, it's already over at that point. If it were not for 2 plays in the Bucs game, we blow them out.

Not postive or negative.. just stating a fact.. thats all.. The Saints won a bunch of games last year by sheer luck. Plus Brees threw the ball up for grabs all the time and somehow his guys always seem to catch it..

Im not saying they arent becoming a force.. Im just saying there are a few plays that have shaped our season so far.. And i was actually thinking if they would have scored that we may have driven for a FG.. Fact is , we pretty much dominated the game other than the special teams

Oh yeah.. LOL.. Pac was the one that stripped Roddy vs the Bengals... .. my bad.. great game yesterday.. I was drunk as hell by the end.. I spent damn $130 on beer yesterday at the game

You could play that game with just about every team in the league. It is what it is; don't take anything away from it.

We have gotten some lucky breaks this year. Like the Saints got last year.

And I dont have a problem with that. I'll take whatever Win we can get, no matter how we get it.

it shouldnt negate it. it was during the game and there was no way the game would have definitively been over on the punt play. the missed kick on the other hand would have changed the game irreversibly. big difference. its ok to get lucky how do you think the aints got a ring last year? sheer skill? bwahhhahahah no.
