which is the bigger qb trade mistake?
Us trading Brett Favre or the Bucs trading Steve Young? Both are hof'ers, but I doubt either makes it if they stayed in their original cities. Jus tryna start some good football conversation. Thoughts?

Favre would have drank himself out of the league here.

Is there a McNabb to Washington option anywhere? Tongue

Bucs trading Young was way worse.

Gotta say I might get a negative out of this but in the long run it might be us trading Farve. The Bucs were able (many years later) to still get a Superbowl ring, while we're still waiting on ours .(and don't worry its coming)

Or so I've heard. That was before my time. But Young wouldn't have been given the reins to a SB champ team in Tampa. So does he still become THE Steve Young?

No, but he may have done something with him. Favre would be working at the wal-mart or dead in a back alley somewhere here.

You're probably right. Anyone know why they traded him? Did he show anything when he was there?

I still say that was a great trade. If we walked outta that draft with Pat Willis and Sidney Rice (like I wanted)you would say the same. Let's not use revisionist history.
