RE: the calm before the storm?
I think if it is a close game tomorrow, the chances are that the Falcons are due for a bad break at the end.
But....I think the Falcons have a chance to get an early lead in this game and stay in countrol for the duration. The Eagles have a defense that can be worn down by the Falcons bruising running game. So.....if it's a tight game like the last 3, I don't like the Falcons chances......but hopefully we won't be sweating it in the 4th quarter. |

This is the biggest statement game this year so far in my opinion. Saints still tops this game as a statement game. Although they have since imploded a little bit, they are still the most recent SB champs so beating them is a bigger statement than this game. The only win the rest of the regular season that will top the Saints in the Superdome is beating the Ravens on Thursday Night football. |

We didn't have Ryan, Turner, Jenkins, Baker or Dahl in last years game, and I think a piece or 2 on defense. Maybe Houston, but that was no huge loss except in the experience department.

I do agree that was a killer statement game but we really shouldn't have won that game. Thank the heavens that we did. It's just that the eagles seem to always have their way with us so this could really show we are a different team than last year.

RE: the calm before the storm?
I think we win. THe Eagles Offense is banged up and our Secondary is playing Lights Out. I expect 1 or 2 INTs. I also expect Turner and Snelling to run all over the Eagles.
Look for Abraham to eat that new Eagle LT alive. Lofton is going to have a solid game. Grimes will get another pick. And the Eagles cant stop our rushing attack. |

RE: the calm before the storm?
This is another statement game just like the Saints game. If we play a good solid game, nothing spectacular, we will win. We're just better than the Eagles, since their run defense is awful which plays to our strength.
I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't! |
