should the NFL change interception rules?
I don't think its fair for a QB to be charged with an interception when its 100% the WRs fault for missing/tipping the ball. @ least 2 of Jon Kitna's ints today should be charged against Austin and Williams for playin asstastically. In the NBA, if a player throws a good pass and the other guy effs it up, that guy gets charged with the turnover. If a pitcher throws a highly catchable pitch and the catcher doesn't catch it, the catcher gets charged with a passed ball. Nowhere near the same sport, but principles apply.

I agree with that. In baseball that would be considered an Error on the player trying to field the ball. That's what I think the NFL should consider plays like that. It is unfair for plays like that to be charged to the QB.
Good post Tony.
+1 from me for that

I agree to an extent but it's been this way so long why change it now?

Why not change it now? Change it because it's the right thing to do. I say call an Error on the WR on plays like that, or at least charge them a Drop. But dont penalize the QB when its not his fault.

I think it's too subjective. Too many are hard to tell whether it was a bad pass, catchable ball, or an "asstastic" effort by the WR. I gotta go nay w/this.

No its not. Its the same thing in Baseball when a fielder makes an error.

If a thrown pass is touched by both hands of a WR and it bounces out and becomes an INT then that should be charged to the WR, not the QB
Its as simple as that. There is nothing subjective about that.
