Im in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.. tried my hardest to find a sports bar.. well, they had Vikings vs Washington on.. that was what the Latin Fox channel had.. TORTURE.. watching old ass FavreDrama and McCrabbs and seeing little updates in the upper right hand corner... UGGGGHHH.. I logged on NFL.com and checked score a few times.. then i see its tied with a minute left.. and they show the seconds ticking down.. then WE WIN!!! How? How was the game? Who played good.. etc.. recap please.. Thanks...

WE RULE!!! Our pass rush sucked. But GB couldn't run or stop the run. Turner rocked it, Ryan played very well.

Yes.. thank you.. where was our pass rush? That needs to step up in the playoffs

Reading the stat line.. the didnt rush for anything excpet for Rodgers ( i assume scrambling).. Did they just stay in shotgun and pass the entire game?

Atlanta allowed only 3 pts in Green Bay's first two trips into the red zone after a Rodgers fumble was recovered in the endzone by ATL for a touchback

Ryan led the Falcons down the field to score a TD pass to Gonzalez to take the lead 10-7

Falcons were gifted a 4th down conversion but GB didn't challenge.

With the score tied at 10, ATL marched again with Turner and Gonzalez. Drive capped with at Turner TD on 4th and Goal.

Running out of time Rodgers directed a no huddle drive with championship poise, the packers converted two fourth downs including one for a TD to Jordy Nelson.

Of course the refs made up for the ATL gift by not calling delay of game of the first of the 4th down conversions.

In the end GB made the critical mistake of giving Matty Ice 1 Matt Ryan too much time and after a stupid GB penalty after an outstanding Weems return. Ryan picked up 20 yards for Matty Ice 2 Matt Bryant to kick a 47 yard gamewinner, twice cause Mcarthy pulled the Ice the kicker... yeah like that will work on Matty Ice 2!

Defense was definitely Bend don't break....They were the ones who created the heart attack all day....

Bottomline....

Ryan played well
Turner played well

All receivers did a pretty decent job of catching the ball (no one stood out immensely today....more spreading the wealth) tony G and Roddy had some critical catches - even Jenkins and HD got involved in the final drive.

WEEMS was a HUGE FACTOR on special teams

Defense got a fumble on the 1 yard line....

and of Course....Matt Bryant had to kick two field goals (because of Icing timeout) to WIN the game

We played just well enough to win....but nice to see even when we are not playing our best football we can still beat quality teams.

i feel like a crack addict without watching the game...I dont think ive missed one in 10 years... ..I fukn paid for my girlfriend to get a massage so she wouldnt get pissed so i could go find a sports bar and total FAIL had to suffer through Vikings-Skins.. If i had known i prob woulda done something fun like horseback or somethin but i thought id get to see Falcons.. I shoulda got a damn Slingbox and watched it on my computer.. oh well.. ill never miss another game.. ..

47 yds and the facemask wasn't stupid, their coverage was. If it wasn't for the facemask Weems was gone for a TD or at least much further.

If not for the facemask, Weems might have taken that kickoff all the way back.

Field Goal was 47 yards.

Matt Ryan had a 107.8 passer rating on the day.

Turner rushed for 110 yards on 28 carries.

Yes, the game was very close, but the refs did gift the Packers their last touchdown because of the no call on the delay. I did not see the Falcons 4th down call, so I can't comment about it.

I think this Falcons team may have the most heart and least quit of any team I've ever seen.

We can't really say that refs gave them a TD. First of all, we don't know what the game clock was exactly as we only see the TV clock. Second, they could have still converted the 4th down like they did twice before and after. Third, Gonzo's missed call was certainly more consequential because it resulted in a TD that certainly wouldn't have been.

Actually, that is a direct feed. The announcers explained the problem is the 'process' where the guy who is watching the clock, sees it hit 0, and then sees if the ball is snapped.

That causes a moments delay, which was just enough to get the play off.
