i know why the FALCONS arent getting their props.
they arent getting their props because they are not putting teams away. i hope next week we win 35 to 10. we have to get a lead and continue to dominate. this is the second week that we let a team come back on us.. and like all good things/luck it runs out, and i would hate that our 4th quarter come back ,after we were winning, in the last min comes to a end in the playoffs.. ill be honest and i hope yall can agree. being up by 14 or less in the fourth quarter is something i enjoy but something i worry about..

RE: i know why the FALCONS arent getting their props.
The fact is that this is the NFL. Parity is a reality. The talent level on the worst NFL team far surpasses anything found at a college level.
For this reason - there are few teams which "put away" opponents week in and week out. Call it scheduling, the will of the team you are playing or just the pure fact that both teams are full of paid professionals out there doing their job. College football is different. There isn't parity and some teams are just bad. Other teams are dominant and have high talent levels which dominate and control the football games winning by large margin week after week. In the NFL - the ONLY thing that counts is your record and how your win/losses affect your standings against your direct competition for the playoff seeding. We are doing very well in BOTH of these categories, with the exception of the Eagles game. Maybe it's time the NFL talking heads realized this is the NFL, not NCAAF. ![]()

RE: i know why the FALCONS arent getting their props.
agree partially w/ Tandy. This is the NFL, you are not going to beat teams by scores of 45-10. That just does not happen very often.
However I agree with falconfest that the lack of being able to hold leads is troublesome and will come back to bite us if we don't clean it up a bit. Our defense is still flawed to a degree. We just don't seem to be able to put enough consistent pressure on the QB to stop good teams from driving down the field once they go into passing mode every play. Pass defense is not up to par and must get better. Falcons need another passrusher and desperately need Spoon back as well. If BVG wants to blitz, he needs to disguise them better. |

This schedule of ours is not as easy at it looked at the beginning of the year. In my opinion, Arizona is the only really bad team we have played and we blew them out.

They are getting their props in some places. Brian Billick (sp?) gives them props all the time. He talks highly of Roddy, Ryan, Gonzo and Turner and a pretty solid defense. One analyst on NFL Network had the Falcons listed as the 4th best team in the NFL. Everyone is talking about Ryan emerging as an elite QB and Roddy as an NFL eliet receiver. We're just not flashy, that's the problem. We grind out the games and come away with a W but people like FLASH. |

You want to beat teams 45-10 on a weekly basis in the NFL? Put it on Pro level on Madden, you should get there just fine.

Rams aint the same ol Rams of the past 5 years. This game will hardly be a cakewalk. They are undefeated at home and have completely turned the corner IMO. We best not look past them.

We best not look past them. Rams have a QB now which means they have "puncher's chance" in every game.....also have RB(Stephen Jax) and Lil' Animal is doing well also(Lauranaitis) |
