homerism aside, which QB do you build on if you had the choice?

This is also true. You have to project how you think the players will be down the road. If we are going by right now, it's Matt Ryan by far. Down the road I see the gap closing between Matt and Stafford if Stafford can stay healthy.

If I truly had to pick a guy though, I'd build around Aaron Rodgers. He's still young enough, with a very bright future.
