I have liked some of what I've seen from each of the QB's, but Stafford is hurt and still learning, and Bradford has played two games. Ryan wins just due to health and play time reasons, even if he can't throw 60 yards from his knees

Matt Ryan, I like a QB with brains, Stafford is a jock and Bradford has not impressed me, Ryan just impresses me like Manning and Brady and all. Hes just got to get to the top of the mountain.

I might throw Flaco or Sanchez into the conversation as well. They're very inconsistant but both have shown flashes of greatness.

I literally cannot think if a reason you could honestly say you would take either of the two over Ryan, homer or not.

All 3 have alot of upside but call me a homer cause I'll go with Ryan everytime. The kid doesn't lose at the Dome and what is he overall thus far? 21-10 or 21-11 as a starter?
Stafford has shown some promise early but he's injured more than he's not. Bradford having the injury in college would be a red flag for me even though he could very well have one helluva NFL career. ![]() |

Stafford has 3 more years to develop until he's Ryan's age, he has one of the strongest arms in the NFL, and also has improved drastically on his accuracy. Bradford has looked stellar in his first 2 games playing for the worst team in the league, and also has the intangibles to go far. I'm not even going to begin to argue that either one will touch Ryan by the end of their careers, but there's definitely an argument especially since they're all so young. Ask a Lion or Ram fan (all 28 of them), they'll break it down for ya. Like I said though, in the end, Ryan is our man and that will never change. He is to throwing footballs what Pablo Picasso was to painting canvasses. "employee of the month is a perfect example of how somebody can be both a winner and a loser.". -Demetri Martin. |

RE: homerism aside, which QB do you build on if you had the choice?
This is kinda a waste but what the hell.
Bradford No one, including his mother knows how good he is going to be after two games. Damn guy could be the second coming of Joe Montanna or Rick Mirer. Rooikies etheir come out really damn solid, or lost as hell when the first start. As defenses get more tape, and the rookie gets more eperience the sorta balance out in learn how to manage the game limbo. After he gets there, we will see if he can take it another level. Until then, taking him is to big a gamble. Stafford Is the best arm of the five I am going to talk about, Hehas even dominated a few games as a passer and has looked really damn good. He aslo appears to be a leader on the field, and the locker room and his team loves him. But he is getting to much time on the bench due to injuries to risk it all on. Not saying he is injury proned, or saying who can blame him with the way detroit blocks. It just means he may be next Chris Miller. or he could just be having a a injury fluke. We don't know. Sanchaz See Braddford. Flacco Is by far the second or first choice its close. He has some real flashes of brilliance, and has an arm almost as good as staffords. Flacco has yet to have to make the transition to leader from what I have seen. The Ravens have had a solid team since he has been there, and this has allowed him to make huge mistakes and not pay for it. Lots of oppurtunies, great field positions most times, running game. Damn I could go on and on. He has yet to take the next step where he picks up a team and carries them, but he is on the crest of the wave. Ryan Ryan is offically ahead of Flacco now in the cerberal part of the game. We went into the damn pittsburg and Ryan kept us driving down the field, and other than some horriable forces to TG( for 1000th ) and the pick he looked damn good, He still has some issues staring down recievers but most QB's due at the beginning of the season before they are completly in sync with their receivers. Ryan has excellent pocket pressence, Hes Tough, a natural leader, and appears to genually love football. Ryan has some accuarcy issues he still needs to work out but does well when given time. He does not have arm strength issues. Currently I think Ryan is the bet choice as of now, but who knows what the other QB's will look like by season end. |

Stafford. Detroit better protect him better because behind that line he is not going to last long
