Latest Falcons RapidReports
52 minutes ago - Rookie CB Joe Haden on defending versatile Falcons WR Roddy White: "You can't play the short and long pass at the same time. You have to study down and distance. Teams do certain things at certain places on the field." Browns RapidReports Tags: CB • Rookie • WR Oct. 08, 2010 1:18 p.m. - No. 3 key to watch: "Gang tackle" appears to be the term of the week in Atlanta, as many Atlanta defenders used that term to describe how to stop Browns RB Peyton Hillis. And gang tackling will be necessary as Hillis has averaged 3.3 yards after contact. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:10 p.m. - No. 5 key to watch: Browns RB Peyton Hillis is lauded as a throwback RB, but his pass catching skills have earned him 167 receiving yards and a touchdown. Atlanta struggled defending 49ers RB Frank Gore in the screen game and will need to be better Sunday. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:09 p.m. - No. 4 key to watch: Atlanta hasn't seen much of the Wildcat formation this season. Cleveland will give the Falcons a look with WR Josh Cribbs lining up as a QB. Atlanta defended the Wildcat well last year, but Cribbs is always a threat with the ball. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:08 p.m. - No. 2 key to watch: Cleveland's use of blitzes may force QB Matt Ryan to check a number of throws down. But if Atlanta's OL can garner enough time, Ryan should find an open WR Roddy White all day against an inexperiencedl Cleveland secondary. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:07 p.m. - No. 1 key to watch: Browns OLB Matt Roth consistently brings pressure on a lot of Cleveland's defensive plays. It will be important for Atlanta's OL to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't break free to take shots on QB Matt Ryan. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:03 p.m. - The Browns blitz and stuff the run the effectively, which will make it difficult for RB Michael Turner and the running game. "They're a tough defense and they've done well against the run so far," Turner said. "Hopefully we can bring our A-game and match them." Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:02 p.m. - QB Matt Ryan said former teammate DT Grady Jackson was the biggest person he'd seen in person. Browns NT Shaun Rogers might surpass him. "Shaun is a force in the middle," Ryan said. "He takes up some space and does a great job in the middle." Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:01 p.m. - LB Mike Peterson said preparing for a bruiser like Browns RB Peyton Hillis is no different than anyone else. "With the run game you prepare the same way you do every week, to shut the run game down," Peterson said. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 1:00 p.m. - Coach Mike Smith posts the team's turnover ratio (+5) on a whiteboard to remind the players how important takeaways are. "If you're able to create turnovers and the offense gets points off it then your percentage of winning is much higher," LB Mike Peterson said. Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 12:59 p.m. - LB Sean Weatherspoon will see a familiar face on Sunday in Browns LB coach Matt Eberflus, who coached him at Missouri. "I 'd say he changed my life," Weatherspoon said. "They were the first Big 12 school to offer me and I ended up riding with them." Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 12:58 p.m. - FS Thomas DeCoud has experience against Browns QB Jake Delhomme , who previously played for NFC South divisional rival Carolina. "He's still a great QB," DeCoud said. "He's a gunslinger and he trusts his arm to make the great throws." Falcons RapidReports Oct. 08, 2010 12:57 p.m. - CB Dunta Robinson on Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi , who could give Atlanta a matchup problem on Sunday: "He's a big body guy that likes to play physical. It's going to be a good matchup for us, with us being smaller corners." Falcons RapidReports http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/team/ATL |

RE: cbs rapid reports 10/8/10
That's weird about key #3. I agree, this should be a good game with some interesting match ups. Lots of talk about LB Matt Roth from Browns fans.
