They aren't as far apart as you might think, and Revis has a year in the NFL on Grimey
it's impossible to judge a corner's progress by looking at sheet. For instance, a corner that gets an interception in a game but allows 9 catches for 120 yards looks better on paper than a corner that allows 1 catch for 3 yards but is only thrown at one time. Looking at those links only determines tackles, interceptions, fumbles, sacks, and defensive TD's. Nnamdi Asomugha's stat line looks virtually nonexistent...until you realize that he gets thrown at an average of 10 times in a season.
