If it meant getting Champ Bailey? Or they were talking on chuck and chernof about letting a few FAs go, keeping Grimetime for a reasonable contract AND getting Champ. Grimes is a great 1/2 CB could you imagine having Dunta, Grimes, and Champ? That would be awesome. Getting another DB and a DE would be killer for our D.

Pipe dream, maybe, but this is the time of the year for that....

I love Champ Bailey, but I think that would be a terrible trade off. I am, of course, a horribly biased fan of Brent Grimes, but the concept of shipping off a very good young player with the best part of his career in front of him for bringing in a very good player with the best part of his career behind him, just seems like a bad idea to me.

If the Falcons can add Bailey to what they currently have, yes, that would be wonderful.

Im more in favor of keeping Grimes and getting someone else. But you cant over pay for grimes, if he wants big bucks we may have to let him go. Id hate to see it, but you have to consuider what could happen.

I think we will keep Grimes. and be able to get a veteran corner in the mix to play in the nickel. Or allow the sub packages where we drop Dunta or grimes in the slot for a different look. Of the teams in the final 8 we had the second lowest overall player salary. we got to put some cake in. Can't be frugal always

As a Saints fan, I would be quite OK with the Falcons getting rid of Grimes. Smile

We dont have $ for Asomugha. Thats why I didnt mention him.

Let me clear, ifyou cant tell, I love Grimey. I just wanted to talk about whats out there, I hope we keep him and add.
