He showed some run blocking and is quite strong and so I don't think he is just a left side prospect. Of course he will have to master the offense and gel with the other line members, but if he can do that, he has a great future ahead of him I think. |

I said this a few times last season! Give it a try! ![]()

RE: Who will play RG next season?
As I said earlier Reynolds is fine. He can play the position and he was playing fine before he got hurt.
I would like to see a stiff competition between him and Mike Johnson. I actually think Mike Johnson is ready. I have the same feeling about him as I did when I figured Decoud would be our starting safety that offseason that Coleman (I think) left. |

Johsnon and Reynolds were in a dead heat.....until Johnson was injured. In my opinion, neither player is sufficiently good enough to start. |

We have to remember that healing from injuries is not an easy process. This was his 2nd year after that injury and he was inserted very often into the lineup. Players progress very well once they get that 3rd year in and dont have to worry about a previous injury. I think we may be surprised by Mike Johnson this year. |

RE: Who will play RG next season?
Like Konz draft somebody or use Johnson if hes healthy, We need a HAWG regardless. but we need to get Konz to center because Mclure is too old. And I would rather have a bad ass O-line that has no problems running the ball or pass blocking. I agree Reynolds is good for a tackle or a backup but for a full timer, Nope. hes not good enough.

Like I said before, Johnson was not doing much before his injury. Hey, OL's can develop. Let's hope he can some day be a serviceable starter. For now, I am filing him in the not-so-good bin. |
