When Ryan throws more than 40 times the Falcons are 1-7

The mere fact that he has only thrown for more than 40 passes 8 times in his NFL career tells you that this stat is useless. Obviously, the team is struggling for the most part or he wouldn't be throwing over 40 passes. Here are the games:

2008:
At Panthers
At Eagles

2009:
At Saints
At Panthers
At Giants

2010:
At Steelers
49ers
At Eagles

wonder what stats are for top notch QBS in this league 40+ or more pass attempts ..Brees, Rodgers, Manning etc

bet its nowhere close to the poor record we have there ..those QBs put games on there back

Actually, the stats on Turner are confusing.

24 games where he is under 100 yards - 12-12

The games without him last year = 4-3

Shouldn't that be skewed more towards the losing side if our games totally depend on him?

I know we are 12-2 when he rushes over 100+ yards . That's pretty telling that Tunrer goes we go

Let's be fair and only use their first 3 seasons as a comparison, seeing as Veterans vs Rookies there will be a clear difference.

Manning: 3-10, .231 Winning Percentage.
Brees: 3-8, .273 Winning Percentage.
Rodgers: 2-7, .222 Winning Percentage.
Ryan: 1-7, .125 Winning Percentage

Of course, then there is the freak career that is Tom Brady:
10-2, .833 Winning Percentage.

If that were the case - then the reverse would be the case - but it's not.

What it really says is - as our OLine goes - so we go. Running game or Passing game - when the Oline wins the battle - we win. When they don't - we struggle. Those are usually the games where Turner can't get going and Ryan doesn't have time in the pocket to make the throws.

Green Bay Packers have one of the worst olines correct ? Fair assumption they have allowed there fair share of sacks some on Rodgers no doubt but that oline is very poor...That doesnt stop Rodgers from putting up numbers nor does it stop Ryan Grant either

Right now we are mid pack QB sack %- LINK WHILE ALLOWING 2.2 sacks a game which isnt good which inst bad



Look at Philly in those stats ...clearly there oline is worse stats SHOW IT


Now how come they attack down field with there passing game ?

Matt Ryan 20+ plays -15


Eagle QB 40+ plays 7
Matt Ryan 40+ plays 2


Hmm how come a team with a WORST offensive line then us have more explosive big plays
