Now before I go on my rant ... Some of you in this very forum have taken numerous shots at me and I have let slide for seeing some of the things you guys are starting to see just now

I have been stressing Mike Mularkey scheme for like a year and half now how he doesnt use clear out routes .how he doesnt open up things down field and how the wrs are having a tough time breaking separation .

I was called a troll/racist/hater all kinds of names..My name was tarnished by a select few ...Just remember that ..Then I started to question really how great Matt Ryan. Lets not forget I wlove the kid he is a winner but there are some flaws in his game that I have been pointing out for a min and not just his arm ..His weight distribution on his back leg to how he isnt go through his progressions to his loft/projection on his deep ball..There is no confidence in his game with the long ball everything is short


That is forcing teams to load the box and contain Turner...All I want is Ryan to take the next step like any of you but I have been having my doubts from watching what I see on the field for awhile

I do find it the same people that called me this negative names are now calling him the Matt Hasselbacks but I get lol when I say he is improved Chad Pennington

Let me ask you this though, according to you Matt Ryan is not as good as he could be. How much of his lack of strong arm/down field throwing ability is truely his fault. You mentioned it yourself the Mularkey chooses not to throw the deep ball. I tend to think that Matt Ryan is fully capable of anything he needs to do to win, however, he is doing what he is told. it's hard to have any sort of sorting through receivers when teams are already loading up 8 in the box to stop the run. If they already have 8 in the box in order to stop the run, and they blitz Ryan has no time since we don't seem to like to run many shotgun formations. I think all of Ryans flaws are a direct reflection of Mularkeys lack of knowledge when it comes to playcalling. When/If we get a new Offensive coordinator this year or next, I believe you will see the Ryan that we all want him to be. It's just a matter of giving full control of the offense to Ryan ala Peyton Manning/Tom Brady.

I just dont want to hear people start top say well we cant judge Ryan for now 3 more years after we fire Mularkey ..We all put Ryan on the 2nd coming level and after his rookie year he has not performed up to those expectations as of yet plus his unless his game is teeter or he really improves his arm and his attack and taking shots he is going to be same type QB

Right now this team is not on Ryan back like I have been saying its more on Turner as we go he goes..Look how GB has handle Aaron Rodgers they let him dicate the game with his passing and shots down field..It could easily be Rodgers is much better then Ryan but Packers offense opens things up


Right now Ryan = GAME MANGER ....and in his 3rd year he should have more control and more ability to open things up

Ryan can be a good QB if Mularkey would let him but Ryan himself has work to do with pre snap reads, not staring down WRs, changing plays, down field accuracy, ETC....There is fault at both ends not just by one.

I agree..I really wish I could ever get my hands on the coaches film and see Ryan progression its hard on tv to judge the routes and the design and his 1/2nd read ..
