We are going to be creating a new forum today called "Frustration Island" which is mostly meant as an outlet for people who can't control their emotions on game day, but also it will be just for generally venting in a very negative way. I think this thread will make the perfect inaugaral thread once we create it.

You Hit a big nail on the head with that last bit. There were just so many people who would go along with the idea of being a falcons fan because they were a fan of Vick. I no a guy who is a die hard Eagles fan, but the dude was a Homer for Vick from his Falcons days. You could only imagine his elation when he ended up in Philly. I think we may see a similar situation with the Cavaliers and LeBron, I think a large chunk of their fan base will fizzle away now that he is gone. And some will just outright jump ship to Miami

The fact others especailly newbies and TROLLS could get away with down right murder, but it took a act of GOD to get them banned. Like ATL75 etc.......

I think it's going to be a funny place. People who are offended by that sort of ranting should just kind of stay out of frustration island. Personally, I find it kind of funny.

I didn't hate it, but I was disappointed that Pure Football was almost always stagnant. Yet someone posts about a bleacherreport power rankings by a Colts fan that put us in 15th spot, and the thread hits two pages in a minute.

Wow, really? Interesting stuff.

I haven't really gotton to know much about the mods over there since they are so low key. I've picked up that SacFalcFan isn't liked by a lot of people.

What annoys me about the board is that common sense moderation is out the window. Some one can sit there and flame bait for years(ahem, gazoo and swifty), and generally just be outright douchenozzles, but for some others it simply takes one off key remark to get you turbo-banned. There is very little communication that goes on between them and the rest of the community. Fuckwits like Vick75 can literally post for years on end(Mr. Right at the moment), but they're never dealt with.

It comes across as the mods are just disconnected from the board. Some are rarely on, have a buddy buddy relationship with some people who are real asshats, and others just seem like they sit above it all and never come down to "our" level.

PF is/was an epic failure. Why put split the community when you can just deal with the trash in the board EVERYONE goes to.

Oh wait, that might require a good bit of effort. I'll volunteer.
