Who does that?

Food is a good thing. The more you eat, the more beer you can drink.

Well, that's how my momma raised me! Big Grin

None. I'll have good hot sauce on hand,.....season to taste!

You still have some of that hot verde ?
That stuff was freaking great.

Yah. I'm just headed to a sports bar and do my best to harass the Saints. Not to many ATL fans up in the Midwest.

Gritz was actually born and raised down around them parts (Mississippi), and claims to know how to make real gumbo. Seeing as how I've never had real gumbo before, I can't wait!

karst41 is coming with his better half as well, bringing with a big cast iron pot of his homemade jambalaya. He brought some last season for a game and it was FANTABULOUSLY delicious!

I'm making craw fish pie. I made some last season for a game get-together and my lady said; "You gotta make some MORE of that!" lol BTW, a pound of craw fish tail meat @ Walmart is $6.24. The same damn thing @ Publix is $12.99!!!

Sounds like kibitzer is gonna join us all the way from Marietta as well as a couple of surprise guest from the boards! I'm already starving just typing this, so I'll close on this little ditty:

Surprise guests? Kewl! Now you got me curious!

I can tell you for sho' I never had any crawfish pie! So, I'm definitely looking forward to trying that. I've had some shrimp creole, jambalaya, and Gumbo before, but couldn't tell ya how "authentic" any of it was. Used to be a nice spot out in Douglaville, called Gumbeaux that had some decent grub. Oddly enough, I never ordered gumbo from there. Huh

Think I had the jambalaya, but Karst, come on man! Leave the atomic peppers ala carte, bro! I used to love hot/spicy food, til it stopped loving me back! I like Micanopy Gold hot sauce, but it's more sweet/hot than hot-hot. Was going to try and bring you some Supes, but you can only order it online, and no time for delivery. Perhaps it will arrive in the mail someday... Angel

Anyway, I can't wait! Cool

Down here in Tampa, they make a really mean spicy buffalo SHRIMP. It's really, really good. And it's not filling, and you can just eat them all day. Im trying to learn how to make that.
ALso, Joe's Crabshack have these Steam Pots that are an amazing mix of steamed seafood of your choice:
