RE: What if Snelling is a no go
If Antone Smith is available, you'll see him ahead of Gartrell Johnson. I'm thinking, though, that neither Snelling nor Smith will be available, and that the staff won't want to put together a game plan that relies in any meaningful way on Johnson. That means a heavy dose of Ovie, both as a runner and as a receiver out of the backfield.

RE: What if Snelling is a no go
We'll have to find someone else to spell Turner, back up Mughelli, dominate on special teams (does he do that anymore actually) and drive the team bus.

A few plays on third down every now and then wouldn't hurt. He could easily be told his specific assignment on every play and he's a tough player so he wouldn't be afraid to throw a block. |

We seem to be dialing up more protection with Sivek at TE and all |

RE: What if Snelling is a no go
So his neck is hurt bad from that play by the goal line? I didn't notice if he came back in the game after that because I was there and was more caught up than usual. Considering that his main role has been as a receiver, Ovie should be able to cover for him a bit.
And since Sonnyjim mentioned Svitek at TE, who thinks he's gonna catch a pass before the year is out? "The Lord say in your heart you should bare no hate/ But I flip the world a Dirty Bird, I aint no saint"- Kaedus |

I think we should bring back TJ Duckett and try him out at noseguard. [Sorry, couldn't let that one slide. We do need some better wheels in the backfield for a change of pace, and Weems does seem pretty versatile so who knows?] HolyDuckett: The immaculately conceived gay-love-child of HolyMoses and duckettplease.
