What about OLB?
I know all the drafts have us taking a DE in the first and I agree with that. The problem I see is that those same drafts are ignoring our OLB problems. I would love to resign Nicholas but he may want to much $. Peterson is 35 and will be serviceable this year, but what about next? If Bruce Carter were available in the 2nd would you take him or maybe the Bloodline in the 4th?

RE: What about OLB?
Casey Matthews. Done.
But point being, I don't think you get a solid player at linebacker in the 4th round. Maybe not even the 3rd round. There just aren't many linebackers that jump out at me this year.

RE: What about OLB?
I agree that outside of Von Miller there are not a lot of OLB prospects. That's why I'm starting to lean towards Carter in the 2nd. I hate to say that because thats where the good/speedy WRs are, but I also think we are not as bad off at WR as some people think.

RE: What about OLB?
We worked out Miami LB Colin McCarthy today, expected mid to late rounder.
I would totally take Carter in the 2nd, assuming Cobb is already gone. He's a first round talent who fell in the draft because of a late season ACL tear. I'm not sold on Casey Matthews. Von Miller is a 3-4 OLB, and would play defensive end in a 4-3.
