That said, I'm here and y'all did what you needed to do. That did allow our backup, Chase Daniels, to throw and complete his first career pass.

Rolleyes

Let's just say I'm looking for starters playing again. Our practice squad WR did look good though. Bush had a solid game with Ivory and Pierre Thomas out. Our fourth string TE doesn't quite cut it, though.

Big Grin

Now you got a dose of the medicine we swallowed hard last weekend, when a division rival comes into your dome and wins.

True, but y'all tried a little harder than the Saints did. We had special teams players starting all over the place in the second half. As soon as y'all went up 21 it was all over.

Nice try making it sound like your starters weren't losing before they were pulled.

Considering several starters weren't even active that's pretty easy to say. We did get to see some guys play that haven't had a chance before.

I thought that the way that Saints players were pulled when the outcome of the game was still in question was gutless and classless and an affront to the integrity of the game given that the Bucs were still in the hunt for a playoff spot.

The Bears didn't give the Packers a walk. Why did the Saints lie down for the Bucs? Perhaps they decided to lay down when they did so that they could claim that they weren't beaten fairly and squarely (which they were.)

In any event this was pretty typical behavior from this self-centered organization. I hope a lot of Saints fans ask for their money back on their game tickets over this fiasco.

one of the worst fan bases in the NFL BEFORE the Super Bowl brought in another 10,000,000,000 of them. I absolutely despise them, but they would say the exact same thing about us. I remember reading a post on their board a long time ago about how they put Falcon fans in the same boat as 10 year old trash, the feeling is mutual.

Its kind of a p***ing match sometimes. Pretty rediculous.

The starters most definitely were in when the Saints were losing. However, the game was well within reach.

Watching the game you really got a feel they didnt care about the outcome... I'm pretty sure they were scoreboard watching. Once you guys jumped out early it was like the team packed it in.

Colston, Pierre Thomas, David Thomas, Tony Hargrove and Shockey could have all played, but were all held out with minor injuries. Chris Ivory, Jimmy Graham and Malcolm Jenkins all were tweaked in the first half and were sat the rest of the game. It would have been silly letting anyone else get hurt in a meaningless game.

A lot of Saints fans wished the starters hadn't played at all. They remember what resting players resulted in last year.
