In the meantime, why don't you explain to us how personnel decisions made by Taylor Smith remotely compare to the personnel decisions made by Thomas Dimitroff.

Who mention any about the Smiths ? I will say 90% of this franchise was convinced Vick at Qb and Rich McKay would lead us to a championship . Also let's hold back the praise for TD while he is doing a outstanding job and has created the foundation for many years we still have not won a playoff game yet but hopefully we get one this week vs Pack but since you want to get on that other thing I told you to look up maybe you can get pm some of the post me saying Ryan will be a star and I pleaded on boards to draft Curtis Lofton I know you like to go up and dig up post Cooper so many you can dig those up to you know .

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

That would be better fiction than anything Stephen King could dream up.

No doubt. Unfortunately, we also know that explanation would be much longer than anything King has ever written and grammatically compromised to the point where it is nearly impossible to read.

I don't speak for 90% of the fanbase, only myself. If you want to argue with 90% of the fanbase, hit "reply" to one of their posts, not mine.

What I - cooperbh - am saying is that I saw many signs that pointed to Vick going down the wrong track. I do not see any signs that point to Thomas Dimitroff/Mike Smith going down the wrong track. You have stated your belief that losing a close, hard fought game to a team with a comparable offense and better defense than us as one of those signs. Bully for you. Your concern is noted.

Unfortunately, we all know that won't stop you from expressing it ad nauseum should the Falcons not win Saturday.

Vick was drafted by Taylor Smith, not Thomas Dimitroff. Sorry, I assumed you knew that and would therefore understand how decisions made by Taylor Smith ten years ago were irrelevant in a discussion that centered around current decisions made by Thomas Dimitroff.

There were lots of signs with Mora/Knapp too. I remember wondering back in 2006 if we even had a scheme anymore. I remember one game where the offensive game plan was, and I quote, to have Vick "just huck it".

To me it seems like what we saw in Vick this year is what he wouldve looked like here with some real NFL coaching, I think that was the biggest part of the "transformation". In the end, sure he can be exciting to watch but he is certainly not the guy I want leading the franchise.

Swift is not so sure.

No, I think you implied that I said we will go back to the Smith era which was totally off base . I said a loss here to a good Packers team could start some cracks in what appears to be a solid foundation . I think with a win here we can still believe in the process . 3 years in and no playoffs would be hard for me to believe in the processs . Now do I think we will go back to the Smith era of 4-12 def not but I can see this team missing out of playoffs next year and finishing 8-8 . That is why I feel a playoff win is urgent cause you never know what tomorrow let alone next season brings . We been one of the healthier teams this year and going into playoffs healthy and home .
