Jenkins has had one good year in the past 3, that was 08. That was enough for him to be considered a good #2 option. He wasn't good in 07, and he wasn't good in 09 either.

That's not running downfield and making a huge block 50 yards down field with Roddy.

No one doubts his blocking skills, but I would prefer a wide receiver who could go out and receive(if you make a gay joke I'll stab you in the face) rather than block like a full back.

I remember the announcers talking about how fast Jenk and roddy were. Dude is fast.. Why you guys hating on Jenkins? he has played good his entire time here i have thought..
Watch this and tell me Jenkins isnt fast..

That doesn't say anything man. Nothing at all. Roddy had already slowed down and wasn't even running at full speed. I've already had this convo ad nauseum. Its unreliable to even use this.

Magic bullet evidence.

Don't care what his 40 time is though. He doesn't go deep, he never really burns anyone deep, he doesn't attack the ball deep, and he simply isn't a speedy deep threat. The only time he's ever burned a CB under Mike Smith and Matt Ryan was against DeAngelo Hall, who was playing so bad that he got cut from the Raiders 8 games into the season.

Where exactly did you get the 4.60? Or did you just make that up to try & be e-cool? According to this post from 2004, Jenkins ran a 4.38.

And yes, Mike Jenkins of the Dallas Cowboys also ran a 4.38 but was later made official at 4.42.

I really hope you just made that up so you look like a complete a-hole hater. Jenkins is way faster than 4.6.

Yes, I made it up, because clearly I just talk out my ass and lie about players to suit my "agenda." Rolleyes Shut the fuck up with that bullshit Beef.

The page where I got it from a few years back is gone, but here's another source.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_av..._Receivers

And this source is between my original source and your's, which is SI.com's draft profile, which has him at 4.52.

Don't act like you're not just another Jenkins hater though. You're the same guy that tries to compare him to every #2 receiver in the league just so you can say he sucks even though he's clearly a #3 or even #4 option on check-downs. There's a handful of you here that go out of your way to do stuff like that whenever you go on a witchhunt.

I'm not a huge fan of Jenkins, but he's part of this team & he does improve the offense when he's in. And we already went through this with the "deep threat" stuff. He's got tons of receptions over 20 yards & a handful over 40 yards. His height & size alone makes him a huge mismatch, especially on jumpballs & blocking ability. Him being in the game will give us many more chances & reasons to put HD inside at the slot where he belongs. And the first time he's 1v1 against a 5'11" CB & he burns em for a deep catch & TD is the last time a team doesn't keep safeties 20 yards deep just in case.

We get it though, you don't like the guy. You don't need to get your jab at him in on every thread that his name is mentioned however.

RE: We miss Jenkins more than people think
In my opinion we miss JENKINS...

1. Passing he is a big body that Cb's do not enjoy going up against and he can get a few catches a game but he also opens up the middle of the field for HD to do his work in (Jenkins is a better receiver than HD)

2. Running look at every long run that Turner has had they all have one thing in common Jenkins either gets the key block on a DB or he is running with him in the open field still trying to put a block on a man to spring him for a TD..

As much as everyone on this board for some reason doesn't rate him..

I think we are all finally seeing why the coaching staff and FO like him...

I'll be nice just this once and not give you the response you deserve Beef. First off, you won't find posts from me on either board running up and down comparing him to other #2 WRs in the league. Second of all, you have a lot of nerve saying anything about "witch hunts" or "not liking a guy" considering your escapades against Mularkey here recently. You might just want to check yourself before you start slinging mud.
