We have been consistently the best team in the NFC This year.

Between all the whining about how we are not blowing away teams this year I guess no one has noticed that there is not a dominant powerhouse team in the NFC this year. In fact the team that has been the most consistent and looked the best overall this year has been us. No other team has really been in every game and played well enough in every game to be in it in the last couple of mins of every game.

I know the chicken little's won't want to hear this but right now we are the best team in the NFC.

You want to see the dominant team in the NFC well it is us.

Green bay lost today
Saints lost today to a team we killed
Eagles Defense is soft
Dallas lost to the Titants badly
The Bears got killed by the Giants
Bucs got killed by a team we took to over time


If you look closely at the first 5 games we are really the only NFC team to play well and be in every game. Not to mention we have the best record int he NFC at 4-1

actually, without being picky (LOL) our NFC record is 3-0, the loss to pitt and the win today were AFC teams. that is still the best record in the NFC conference play though

It is a strange year. I agree with you that all things considered, the Falcons have been the best in the NFC. But I don't think you can use the word dominant.

I mean, it's just a strange year. I don't think I've ever seen a year when teams were as close as they all are this year.

being the best in the nfc isnt saying much this year at all. the offense was disappointing as hell today. they left way too many points on the field. very disappointed. defense still playing excellent even if robinson is getting burnt a few times here and there.

Well being the best team in the NFC means we have a pretty good shot at the super bowl. And besides Pittsburgh even in the AFC there is no real dominate team either.

what i like about that standin is the other two teams we are tied with, but we have the most points scored n least point allowed outa the 3 and the other 2 are known for their defenses

For all the talk of Atlanta winning squeakers, they're second to the Jets in the entire league in point differential. But look at the one loss teams and their individual victory margins (obviously without taking into consideration the teams they played.)

Jets (3-1): 14,14,8.
Chicago (4-1): 5,7,3,17
NE (3-1): 14,8,27.
Baltimore (4-1): 1,7,3,14
Pittsburgh (3-1): 6 (OT), 8, 15
KC (3-1): 7,2,21
Atlanta (4-1): 34,3,2,10

Only the Jets and New England are beating up on all their wins. Every other team is mixing in a single blowout with close games. Wins in the NFL aren't supposed to be easy.

NFC Champions is looking like a really nice title right about now
