Douglas 3
Weems 4
Gonzo and Peele 2

If Norwood didn't drop 2 easy passes he would have had 3 catches. I'm sick of that crap being spewed that Ryan only used one WR, OUR best WR, which was a big mismatch to begin with.

Like Tom Brady said in an interview the other day. It's basic offensive football to attack weaker parts of a defense. Makes no sense to complain about that, NONE!

OK, if I would have known that saying he hit Roddy for roughly 50% of his passes would have, whats a nice way to put this... hurt your feelings so much, I guess I would have maybe rephrased...

Atlanta was 15-28 when targeting Roddy and Tony
They were 11-14 for all the rest, and 2 of the 3 incompletions were drops by Norwood.

Since the success rate was so much higher when throwing to the other guys, I think it would have been a good idea to throw it to them more.

HOW DARE YOU MAKE SENSE! LEAVE RODDY ALONE!!!

Doesn't hurt my feelings just get the facts straight. There is no point in complaining about an offense exposing a weakness in a defense. The mismatch was Roddy against any CB on the Steelers roster.

Now don't misunderstand me. I looooooove Roddy White. In fact, I think it is very much for his own good that the Falcons throw the ball more to other people. The more we target White, the harder it is for him to ever get a big play.

Like what, 8.5 YPC per catch the other day? His career low for a season is 13.5 - last year.

It would be nice if they use the OTHER TIGHT END too.

maybe I'm dumb but if you hit 11 of 14 (with 2 of those being drops) throwing to other receivers, isn't THIS the REAL mismatch?

Gonzo and Norwood have lined up at WR multiple times.

With a player like Gonzo, I don't see the need for us to ever put 5 WRs on the field. It simply doesn't take advantage of our best receiving targets.
