Voluntary Donations

I want to thank everyone who has joined so far, this site is blowing up. We have over 230 posters in just 3 days and the growth is much more phenomenal than either David or I anticipated.

I hope everyone is enjoying the ad free experience.

We are trying to be proactive to the growth and insure that we have the server power we need to keep our game day experience smooth. While David has offered to run this site entirely with his own funds, I think that would be a bummer for him because he is already doing all of the work for free.

So, I am setting up this thread as a call for voluntary donations to the cause. If you have a low paying job with no expendable income, please do not feel pressure to donate. In fact, I don't want anyone to feel pressure to donate.

We need somewhere between $600 - $800 per year for the anticipated bandwidth / server requirements. We’ll keep this thread open, and if we actually collect everything we need, I delete the thread.

Understand that this board will be here regardless, even if nobody donates a single cent and David and I have to pay every penny for it.

Thank you to all of you who have joined and to any generosity you are able to contribute to the cause.

AFMB and now this board have played, are playing, and will play a big part in letting me get close to the team and the Fans. I'd really been missing out prior. I really hope I get a chance to meet some of you in ATL one day as I'm hoping to visit again from Britain. And if I could contribute to AFMB in this way to help it get better I would. I would like to make a monthly £10 donation to the site. Is this something that could be set up through pay pal?

Just click on the "donate" it goes right where you need to go, it goes straight to paypal. This thread will stay up unless we get more money than we need, then it will be shut down.

We don't want people to have to bother with monthly donations, but thanks for that offer.

does it have to be paypal or can i just use a debit/credit card? i don't have a paypal account, but will set one up if i need to. told you at the other site i'd be more than happy to donate...

No, if you click on the link, you can donate directly with a card or through paypal.

I just donated $10
