Yeah and VJ has missed all of training camp, pre-season, and will be going into a new offensive system so he would be really really rusty.

They should have addressed this earlier.

If the arbitrators rule that he has to sit 6 games regardless of a trade, then he is probably going to be sitting out the rest of the season.

If they rule that he can play after 3 games if traded, I think he'll be a Viking within a day or two.

The hearing is today and the ruling is expected tomorrow.

TJ is very talented imo. Sitting behind Favre for 2 years is only going to help him hone his skills as a QB. Plus, as mentioned, as much talent as they have, they would still be a 10-12 win team IMO.

Let me ask you something. If you had $1000 to bet on a team to win a Super Bowl, would you EVER bet it on a team led by Tavares Jackson?

Im glad we didnt get him, a buddy of mine heard from a friend that works in the SD front office and he said VJ is really a trouble in the locker room.
