Vick's Visor

Rainbow Vick's Visor
His Visor is tinted and reflective preventing DB's from seeing his eyes, I think this is an unfair advantage.

Any opinions on this?

RE: Vick's Visor
Vick wore that in Atlanta because he eyeballs his WRs too much.

RE: Vick's Visor
I was watching an old Ohio State/Iowa game from 1990 the other day and Iowa's QB in that game had a complete dark visor.

Yep. The same reason LT wears one.

RE: Vick's Visor
It's an interesting question actually. Reading a QB's eyes is something most of the top DB's in the league are very good at. They even mentioned Asante Samuel tonight and how he said he loves to play off the WR and not the jam so he can have space to read the QB's eyes. Wearing a visor may not be some huge giant advantage, but it still may be one. Hell the offenses in today's NFL already have enough advantages as it is.

The real question here is if there is even the slightest gain from wearing a visor, why don't all QB's do it?

Because smart QBs can actually use their eyes to draw safeties away. It works both ways.
