Until the playoffs every game is a lose lose situation
From the standpoint of both the Media, other teams fans and our own d*** fans. If we lose any number of games we are "frauds" we cant win when we need to blah blah blah. but even if we win it still isnt a playoff game and the "Fans" are going to b**** and whine about something.

Pretty much spot on. Honestly if we lose tomorrow, and we just may if Moore and Roddy are out, the thing I'm looking forward to the least is the doom and gloom sky is falling, Falcons are no better than the Marion Campbell edition, impossible for them to ever win a playoff game crowd. The whining will be off the chart, so please Falcons, win the game and spare me the supreme annoyance.

Agreed on both counts.

It's true that what happens in these next 3 games won't matter at all once the playoffs start, but I hope the Falcons win tomorrow, just so Falcons fans are bearable this week.

I just said this in another thread, but the way you said sounded much better.

I don't think this game should be treated as a playoff game. I don't want the coaches showing any of their hand in this game.

I want the team to play hard and hopefully come away with the win. If we lose, then fans and media will be annoying and lose confidence or continue to doubt, but I dont think the team will lose confidence.

I doubt the team will lose confidence in themselves. I'm sure they've lost confidence in some people's ability to use their brain. I'm sitting here thinking if the team actually were to read some of the drivel I've read they must be sitting around going, "Jeez what a bunch of dumb fucks who have absolutely no clue how things really work".

If the team had the lack of confidence or lack of intestinal fortitude that I've seen displayed, they would go 0-16.

This is our last test before the playoffs. It would be wise to treat it as such from the play calling down to execution.

We need a complete game.

I completely agree.

If the playoff losses thing isn't in our head then why has our offense gotten worse in each of the 3 playoff games?

Our offense was more predictable each year thanks to MM.
