You know who that OC was don't you?

Couldn't have been Mularkey. The guy is too conservative and he doesn't know how to get two stud WRs involved. I know that is true cause I hear it all the time on the message boards.

Hint:
The OC's middle name is Rene

Mularkey was either the OC or the head coach for the Steelers at one point wasn't he?

Interesting. I think he should go by that. Makes him sound sophisticated.

Yes....the only HC job he had was the Bills.

I am far from sold on Nanee. I live in San Diego, and he is a guy that they have been hoping would turn into something great for a little while now. Still hasn't happened. When Vincent Jackson went down, they thought this would be the year he gets going. Didn't happen for a variety of reasons.

Also, Kevin Acee is the mouth piece for the Chargers and is A.J. Smith's go to guy when he wants something put out to the media. Don't give him much credibility, nobody else around here does.

It's true that everything I have ever seen that guy write has a Pro AJ Smith slant.

I enjoy it down here, especially when the marines and Navy fly over the school.

I like Naane for what he is, just not enough to think he is going to be an upgrade over Jenkins. When Vincent Jackson went through his contract hold out, this year was billed as the year that Naane could show that he could replace Jackson. A.J. Smith (by way of Acee) hyped the hell out of Naane in training camp and early in the season. A lot of people down here thought a lot of the platitudes were designed to turn up the heat on Jackson and get him into camp or back to the season earlier for fear of losing his job.

I am much more in favor of drafting a sub 4.4 40 guy to stick in the slot, or maybe the # 2. Someone in the second or third round, Jernigan or Titus Young.

I like Jernigan. I was not proposing Naane instead of Jernigan - I wanted both....I wanted Naane to split time with Jenkins and split time with Jernigan at #3.
