IDK about James Jones, He's been inconsistence through out the season, and after the kind of playoffs him and the packers having, he probably going to demand some money.

I rather we drafting a WR than signing one.

I would rather we do both......

Sign James Jones
Draft Jerrnel Jernigan

I doubt GB would let him get away regardless. Driver will probably retire if the Pack wins the Super Bowl. Maybe even if they don't.

yeah, Driver has to be gettin' close to the end.

Greg Jennings - #1 WR
James Jones - #2 WR
Jordy Nelson - #3 WR
Jeremichael Finley, TE

that is about as good a quartet of receivers as you are going to see in the NFL. I really like Jordy Nelson.

I think we should look at the following receivers: Plaxico Burress, James Jones, Braylon Edwards, Santonio Holmes, Vincent Jackson, and Randy Moss? Just ask their agents what the asking price would be for each recevier. Honestly all the receivers on this list would be an instant upgrade to what we have at WR outside of Roddy White. Realistically, all of these guys wouldn't like to be a #3, so any of these guys would have to be brought in as the #2. That pushes Jenkins to #3, and if we draft Jernigan, he could fight with Douglas as the #4.

I am warming up to the Plaxico thing, if the guy has been humbled. He is a guy that I know that Mike Mularkey can get the most out of.

how old is Plax now? I always liked his talent....he's gotta be 30yrs old or more. He played in the great Falcons/Steelers regular season game when Vick led Falcons back from being down like 20-0 at halftime - game ended in a tie. Plax had huge game.

Plaxico will be 34 when next season starts.

The Falcons gave up the most offensive yards they have ever given up in a game in franchise history in that game. Plaxico had 253 yards receiving and Hines Ward 139, and the Steelers had 645 yards of total offense with an insurance salesman playing QB.

Whoever was calling plays for the Steelers that day, that is who the Falcons need as OC.
