I said he didn't see the field. And even that contained the caveat "I think." All of what I know about him was based on having him on my fantasy team for a while, not any "wild ass guesses." That said, I doubt he would have had the opportunity to even play in that last game had Crayton not gotten injured. It was pretty clear before Naanee's injury that Crayton had already taken his job. |

This is always a problem with second tier receivers from other teams. They tend to flame out once they go somewhere else. Who knows maybe he is the next Jerry Rice but I don't see that happening. |

There is a reason for the cliche': "Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics". ![]() you cannot make conclusions based on statistics only. Sure, stats are one thing but there are many other factors - injury, opportunity, projection, etc. I'm not trying to convince you guys that Naane is "the next Randy Moss" - and of course you are free to think what you want. I'm not even saying Naane should be our #2 WR...... My guess - is that Naane could compete for #2 WR but would be an "instant upgrade as our #3 guy in the slot. He would be a tough match-up for #3 corners in the NFC South. Right now the Falcons don't have a lot of players that are matchup problems for the opposing defenses - I think Naane as our #3 would be. You are free to disagree and the upcoming season and beyond will validate or prove me wrong. I for one - think Naane is on the verge of developing into a really nice player - and he's going to be somewhat budget friendly as well. |

Players do breakthrough at every position when they go from one team to another......some break through - some don't.... |

Besides Turner was wanted by more than just the Falcons in the league. His career stats coming out of SD are muc better than this guy. Turner played behind the best RB of his generation. Naane was given the chance to prove he could be #2 in a pass first offense and had 23 catches. Turner SD 4 years 59 games 228-1257-6TD 5.5 ypc Naane SD 4 years 54 games 63-746-3td-11.8 ypc |
