I am not against signing Clabo. I am just pointing out that TD has been trained by the best personnel department in the league. If Jerry Jones goes hog wild over Clabo, he will be wearing blue and we will move on.

Gilber and Siemba are both 3rd or 4th rounders. Cannon is most likely a G in the NFL at 350 LBs. I haven't studied him to much be just looking at his weight it seems he might have a prob with speed rushers.

Gilbert is more like a 2nd/3rd round pick... The Alabama OT Carpenter is another guy that can play RT (2nd/3rd round guy)

I wouldn't say Gilbert is a 2nd rounder, I have him valued as a M3rd-E4th.

Carpenter is also another guy, however I think he's better suited at LT.

I dont see neither making it to the 4th round.... you have a guy ranked as a high 3rd round pick and u are picking at the end of each round... you have to use that 2nd round pick on a guy... Some feel like with good coaching.. Gilbert could eventually play LT in the NFL.

think Carpenter will start off as a RT in the NFL... Some thought he had to play Guard in the NFL but dude looked good at OT in the Senior bowl

I would love to keep Clabo depending on what the price is. If jerry is going to make him into the highest paid RT in the game I will pass. We have a ton of young talent behing him that are just waiting in the wings. If Tyson signs with a new team he will also have to learn a new scheme, teamates, and town he may struggle to acclimate in the first year. It is what it is. I am not a fan of the comment however.....

Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clabo said after the '09 season that he didn't expect to play another game as a Falcon, but he did.

Cause we tendered him. I think both him and Dahl were miffed at getting tendered.

Dahl can't talk. Clabo can though.

He said that before we tendered him, he didn't expect us to I don't think. I think it was before the season even ended when he said it.

Since we pick towards the end of each round, we have to think in terms of drafting one round earlier than "experts" suggest. It is a matter of adding the players that you want. Gilbert is definitely a second round prospect, as is Cannon. Once they prove themselves at the Combine, their stocks will settle into the second round.
