Trade out of the first round?

Trade out of the first round?
With uncertainty would it be possible that a few teams will trade out of the first and/or second round to get picks for next years draft?

With free agency screwed up, I can see how some teams may forego some picks especially since its possible that this years games may never come. Also, they can't train those picks appropriately anyway, yet still have to fork over money.

Would you be pissed if we moved out of the first round?

RE: Trade out of the first round?
not really, i would love it actually if we were to trade our first this year for a future first and third or better....

i see a real lack of talent at the end of the first round of the draft this year that could easily be had in the second or third...

Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Trade out of the first round?
I would love to trade out of the first but I would prefer a 2nd and 3rd this year. With Houston dropping we can get him in the second now and our WR then OLB/CB and RD in the third. Before any one asks I think Houston will still pass the Falcon Filter. Babs got caught with weed and didnt miss a beat. I think this just makes him more of a value pick (other than his lack of judgement by toking up right before the combine).

RE: Trade out of the first round?
I don't see it happening, not with what TD has been saying, it sounds like they know exactly what they want & if they fill those holes, they believe we are a contender right now. And I definitely agree with that.

A speedy deep threat receiver to help spread out defenses, a speedy change-of-pace receiving back to compliment Turner, a DE to add to the rotation to improve our pass rush, and a tight coverage nickel CB to improve our pass coverage in the middle, and I feel we have all the holes plugged. Spoon & Nicholas will be better. I believe what Abe says when he thinks Biermann will start hitting the double-digit sack level, & I think HD will step up this year. Add Meier to the mix with the new draft picks I mentioned on offense, & I believe we're set for a huge year. And I believe this is precisely what TD, Smitty, & Blank think as well.

Beef, I agree with our needs, however, if we have a half season or no season at all, couldn't we wait one year to get the better picks that could potentially make are run more than one year?

Just trade out of the whole draft.

Why don't we just close the doors at Flowery Branch for good and dissolve the entire team? Would that make you happy?

Ah come on you know that wouldn't make him happy. He wouldn't be able to exclaim that a player has a "shattered ankle" or a "blown up knee" anymore.

RE: Trade out of the first round?
It wouldnt bother me one bit to trade out of the 27th spot. We could go down 10 or 15 picks and still get the same player value we were getting at 27.
