He just said no one would even think to consider this but...

the Atlanta Falcons have outscored the New Orleans Saints through 13 games this season. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Understand the context. Trent Dilfer was hyping up how New Orleans' offense was much more explosive than ours and babbling away and then Tom Jackson came in with that 1 little piece of info and shut him up. It was rather humorous.

i think that is just too funny. I wonder if THEY actually know what it means:
LINK

ple·thor·ic
   /plɛˈθɔrɪk, -ˈθɒr-, ˈplɛθərɪk/ Show Spelled[ple-thawr-ik, -thor-, pleth-uh-rik] Show IPA
–adjective
1.
overfull; turgid; inflated: a plethoric, pompous speech.
2.
of, pertaining to, or characterized by plethora.

that's TOO F'IN FUNNY

Chew on THAT, Petunia!

Jackson's delivery was sure and quiet: "The Falcons have out-scored the Saints." No shouting, no bravado...just factual.

Dilfer looked dejected and was very quiet.

Well, per walkin' dude's stats there, it IS only 2 points to the good.

But it only takes one more point than your opponent to win a game. Cool
