Tom Coughlin is a Horse's Petute
When you give up 28 points to lose by 7 in less than eight minutes, it is a complete team meltdown. Where do complete team meltdowns start? Maybe the head coach?
But there was the head coach, screaming at his punter, "taking complete responsibility for the punt" then COMPLETELY THROWING HIS PUNTER UNDER THE BUS. Was it the punter who dialed up a blitz on third and ten with NO outside containment to Vick's left??? Was it the punter that did not have his team ready for an onside kick in a situation that quite obviously called for an onside kick?? Can you imagine Mike Smith pulling that kind of garbage? You cant blame the Punter for that. 10 other guys failed to tackle. That whole Defense fell apart. I am happy that I am not a Giants fan, because I would be going ape-shit right now.

RE: Tom Coughlin is a Horse's Petute
I did find Coughlin so hilarious after the game.
He goes "I am taking complete responsibility for the last play.........I told the punter to punt the ball out of bounds and he couldn't do it." I am laughing uncontrollably now just thinking about it. |

RE: Tom Coughlin is a Horse's Petute
Look at what one of the Giants fans said about their punter...
"Bye Bye Matt Dodge. I Never Liked You. I hope you think long and hard about what you did to this Giants team and where you stand in Giants history, Mr. Pisarchik. Yes, think about it long and hard while you're back home in Alabama on the shore wading your feet in the waters. And I hope an alligator jumps out of the water and takes off your kicking leg so you'll never create nightmares for NFL fans again." Dang. "TOUCHDOWN! MY GOD, A TOUCHDOWN! WE THREW IT TO HAYNES! WE JUST STUFFED THEM WITH FIVE SECONDS LEFT! MY GOD ALMIGHTY, DID YOU SEE WHAT HE DID? DAVID GREENE JUST STRAIGHTENED UP AND WE SNUCK THE FULLBACK OVER! … WE JUST STEPPED ON THEIR FACE WITH A HOBNAILED BOOT AND BROKE THEIR NOSE! WE JUST CRUSHED THEIR FACE!" - Larry Munson broadcast UGA vs Tenn, 2001 Rest In Peace, Larry. You will be missed. GO DAWGS! HUNKER DOWN! |

RE: Tom Coughlin is a Horse's Petute
Coughlin told him to kick it out of bounds and he failed to do that and it literally cost them the game. He has every right to bawl the guy out in front of people. He was told what to do as a player and completely ignored it. Frankly I'd have cut him on the spot after the game.

I would be stunned if Dodge still has a job after today. Stunned.
