They haven't put the video up yet, but when they do I will edit this post, but this post is about the eggs on the bus.

Decoud said that the egging showed that the city was truly behind them and that the fans hated the Saints as much as the Falcons did. He didn't say it gave any extra motivation, but you can tell that they sometimes get discouraged by the seemingly lack of support and lack of full seats in the stadium, especially compared to the Saints fans.

Is it possible that the egging that people thought gave extra motivation to the Saints, in turn, gave the needed support to the Falcons to push a lil bit harder for the rest of the season?

We may be looking at the "egging" as the event that made this season special.

Hadn't thought about it like that but it's a very good point. I could definitely see it having that effect. Now I'm really thankful for the egging.
