This story is a little disturbing....especially for people in Cincinnati and Buffalo
In the new GQ, Vick says he didn't want to play in Philly, that he really wanted to go to Cincinnati or Buffalo, where they promised him he would start. League officials, including Roger Goodell, steered him to Philly instead. I presume this is because they didn't want him starting right away. Either way, kind of disturbing that the league would interfere with teams in this manner.

Ok, I admit it, I am a little perturbed too. I would totally rather that guy be in Cincinnati or Buffalo about now.

I wonder how the NFLPA is going to react. He was offered more money by Cincinnati for sure, and possibly by Buffalo as well. The NFLPA hates collusion, and this is a standard case of it.

this is the only thing disturbing about this article:
PETA co-founder Ingrid Newkirk—who likens Vick to "a psychopath"—lays it out pretty clearly: "I don't want him within half a football field of an animal. It's the only way that we could make sure that the animals are safe."

To do the kind of things he used to do shows signs of a purely deranged individual. 2 years in prison does not cure that. He'll probably get caught again. |

I think the disturbing part was Vick's attitude in the article. He seemed contrite and remorseful a year ago, but here, he's acting like it really wasn't his fault that this happened. I feel a new fall coming.

Half of your family members hunt deers and Boars dont throw stones at a glass house. If Casey Anthony can go free for killing a kid, Vick shouldve never went to prison. I'd love to see all the closet racist say something about that. |
