This year was the best Falcons team I've witnessed play the game in those years, including the 98 team. I'll never give up on them. I'll die a fan, but sometimes I wonder if I'll die with them never having overcome that ghost from that first game.

My friend the Cowboys fan grew up, got into drugs and died from it three years ago.

I'm clean, working on a masters degree, happily married to a great woman.

I wouldn't trade that for those trophies his team has won, but damn it sure would be nice to see just one Lombardi in Arthur Blanks office before my time comes.

1980...that was the season I became a fan too.....this loss was tough...because 90% of it was on us.....10% was a couple of bad calls and a couple of missed calls (anyone that could have had an impact on the outcome)

I have stopped watching football once we are out....why....because it stings too much....so my football is over for the year....i will be around.....take care folks...
