The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read)

RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read)
I'm all about promoting the value of this board from now on and quit talking about the AFMB.

It is what it is.

This board is plenty good enough on it's own merits.

I had a good long 8 year run, and got banded because I spoke my mind (privately - not in a thread) about what I thought about the MB sucking ass on gameday. At least I THINK that's what it was. I was never given an official reason.

But if you want, I can ban you, so you don't feel left out? Angel
I've never been banned either, but I think its more because people just tend to ignore my posts. I've definitely posted some things that I'm kinda surprised I wasn't banned for.

Big Grin

I try not to be an ass, but I can be, so it will probably come in good time. I generally know when I shouldn't be posting and just don't go online when I am in that kind of mood. I also read more than I post usually, more content to see what others think than to try to act like I know everything about the game of Football.

Man, dont feel bad I'm just like you. Seven years, never been banned from the board. Never had an issue with the mods, in fact, always got along with Sac in particular. I just doesn't seem like the powers that be really care about that message board. I'm not talking about Rev, Jay, or even James H. I mean the actual decision makers who put these bad upgrades in place. With that said, here I am happy to be on atlantafalconstalk.

Should they be like that? No

I agree w/this. He has a point, as I've been around a long time posting, and I've seen this kind of thing come and go. I did NOT like the snide "little" way he posted what he said, though. And to GB's point the posters make the board, not the other way around.

Up until this season, though, I have never seen quite the level of "apathy" regarding what they're doing over there. It's sad. At the same time, it makes me really like this place all the more for the motto: "by the fans, for the fans". I just like the approach 100x better.

Pretty much lol-ing at all the posts here that say, "I'm not going over there any more." Child, please.... Tongue People will, and I don't care. Hopefully, it won't change a thing about the vision that this board has been trying to realize.

Good post my brother...

Yeah, we're all going to continue to go back there.

Shit, it might still be a good source for injury and inside news. we're all junkies for that stuff.

It's not like cheating on your girl or anything if you use both sites.

This place is kicking ass though I must admit.

I think there is the very real possibility that a lot most of the people who get in to the groove of posting here will become rare visitors of that board. I've been over there a few times today, and the the great majority of the intelligent posts I've seen are by members that are already participating here.

Since we've got the great majority of the good posters here, eventually I think the redundancy won't be so necessary anymore.

I can already see it happening. At times when I looked at that board today it would be true that I didn't recognize 80% of the names.

Speaking of inside news, I was thinking of giving Sportsfreak her own forum here. I think I want to tie her up with an exclusive contract, cause she is the only one over there that ever provided any true inside information.

I think Ive made a total of 2 posts over at AFMB today. I really dont have a desire to post more there. It's just easier and more relaxed posting here, and the general football discussion is a lot more intelligent here.

She hasn't been wrong yet. I never understood the constant abuse she got over there.
