My least favorite comment in that thread: RevHal - "Nope, still just an internet message board". Very technically speaking, he is correct. But he totally missed the point you were trying to make, made a smartass retort, and then tried to back track and explain himself. Sorry. But I've seen all that 100x before.

I like that our hands aren't tied by the same people who are (apparently) keeping the Admins/moderators from doing any kind of meaningful work there.

Oh no, I think these boards are gonna be one of the few splinter boards that actually succeed and I'm glad to see it. I plan to be a regular visitor and even donate what little $ I can.

I too caught the remark from Rev and saw it just like you did and you're right, he totally missed my point, got smart, and tried to back-track. Rather than light him up, I mostly just ignored it. Everything is on the record and the people reading that thread in Flowery Branch are the people that will be making changes,....not Rev.

He was, and I guess still is, the ONLY stick-in-the-mud about the Hick'ry Stick Award and I still don't know why.

A certain member got banned from here last night over a discussion about me. It's a long story. I had a talk with him and reconciled things. Id like him to have 1 more chance to make things right here. Im not heartless like that, even when people attack me some times for no reason. It's a unique situation. Hard to explain.

A) Because he didn't think of it or have anything to do w/it (much).

B) I did reply in the thread Jedi linked, to Mojo. That dude has it wrong. That said, he is more than welcome to come here and argue if he wants to.

Mojo is a fucking dick. I dont want him anywhere near here. Chessplayer is who all this controversy is about, and I think he realized what he did wrong last night, and maybe can get a 2nd chance to make it right.

I find it amusing that he's bitching about people agreeing on "Falcon Fandom", like there's something wrong w/that, and like we all agree at every turn, about everything, which is total bullshit. And this place WILL get boring in a hurry if it truly was or becomes that way.

That is all Mojo does. He doesnt discuss football or anything. All he does is taking sniper shots at other posters that he doesnt like.

great post supes. Last week i got wild hair and went to EVERY other teams MB to check them out. I've never been to another teams boards, i wanted to see if they were like ours.

I'd read James H say -memos come down and we have to follow- or something to that extent and I took that to mean (with his other comments) that the NFL mandated how things have to be set up. So i wanted to see that. there were only three other MB that look like ours, Ravens i'm sure of, dallas i think and NYG i think. I couldn't even get to AZ, i got a message i was IP banned from there, I assumed it was because i was a fan from the next opponent. I've never been there, so have no idea why i'd be IP banned.

As for chessplayer, i went and read that whole thread in our Rules section, i swear to me it seemed as if he was DARING peyton to ban him, so he got his wish. then he runs over there to cry about it. almost as if he was trying to seem like a hero over there for getting banned over here.

Lastly, total agreement with the thoughts that the message board is just a message board, i too noticed the Rev missing the point and back tracking. i've had a couple of back surgeries, and can't do a lot of the "hobbys" i used to like. I've always liked football, have been a falcons fan ever since moving to GA in 1970 (no i'm NOT FFS1970, LOL) but never played organized ball. I was always too little, and no you wouldn't believe that if you saw me now. HAHA point being, i've learned a LOT of stuff reading over there and here by people who DO seem to know a lot. Have established a comraderie with several people, if not a friendship, maybe some will turn into that? who knows.
