No one here has really "Left" the AFMB. I am still there, as is Peyton and Tandy and others. We just felt we needed an alternative place to be able to post. It's not Mutiny, or Revolting. I am a lot more happier here. I am more calm and relaxed and not stressed all the time. I feel like I can post here and say my opinion without getting jumped on by 10 people at once. It's just a better atmosphere here for me.

Just so you know, I never negged you for no reason just because you are you. I've actually gave you +1's back when I saw or felt that you were negged unfairly based on who you are. I do that all the time when I feel it's an unfair neg. But you have come off as bi-polar, sir lol. I've decided after reading your post that I will erase my perception of you and start a new here and now with this being the first post. I don't know how to plus 1 on here so... yeah, can't do it.

The mods we have are humans, might get tired of being hated and insulted, and may occasionally take an action that wasn't completely warranted.

Anybody remember the mini mod Shay? She was the only female of the original mini-mods and was treated like hell on the OMB's by many of the "kids" in there because she was a,....female. She dropped out eventually and left the boards because of it and I didn't blame her.

I met Shay personally a few years ago. She came to my house for a game with some friends. She was a very nice lady.

I wasnt accusing you of negging me or anything. I was just speaking in general. This guy Mojorisin is a classic example of why I dont want to post on AFMB anymore. He just slings insults at me every chance he gets and never actually discusses football. I cant tolerate that.

Cool. And I know you weren't accusing me of straight up negging you, it's just I know we've had our back and forths from time to time and I wanted you to know I never did it just to do it. ...but I have done it lol.

Im sure Shiney is a Great Person in real life. Im not denying that, and I have never had the opportunity to meet him in person. And that's a shame because if he actually met me in person he probably would not have been so biased against me on AFMB. Im actually a good guy, very respectful and I'd give the shirt off my back to help a Friend out.

What happened with me on AFMB is that a lot of people disagreed or got offended by my opinions - esp. when I was critical of the Falcons. And Everyone just all thought it would be cool to Gang up on me and Label me as crazy or bi-polar. I just cant have a conversation on that board any more. People there see me post something and all the sudden the Flame Brigade jumps to attack.

Atlsport had the BEST post in that thread, NAILED it dead-on, and as you may have seen, I nominated him first as a possible replacement for one of the several mini-mods that have vanished or just don't give a damn anymore.

Many of you may not believe it, but they DO listen and comprehend @ Flowery Branch. Be patient for a few weeks and see some major improvements with the OMB's.

That's all well and good, but I hope it doesn't kill these boards or the spirit in which they were created. We're doing something different here, I think.

My least favorite comment in that thread: RevHal - "Nope, still just an internet message board". Very technically speaking, he is correct. But he totally missed the point you were trying to make, made a smartass retort, and then tried to back track and explain himself. Sorry. But I've seen all that 100x before.

I like that our hands aren't tied by the same people who are (apparently) keeping the Admins/moderators from doing any kind of meaningful work there.
