You watch close enough and you'll see Roddys arm move and the ball move to the ground.I'm not sure how u saw that. I have literally watched that thing literally thousands of times and it looks like a catch. He bobbled it at first by caught it and had 2 feet in all the way to the ground. The call was nothing but bullshit. |

RE: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
Right as he was about to hit the ground you can see his elbow move, and the ball moves a little bit and touches the ground. Did he have possession? Possibly. If Hocculi never said no conversion on that, it wouldn't have mattered if the Panthers challenged. There wasn't enough to turn it one way or the other, that's why we didn't get the call overturned. You just couldn't tell 100%

RE: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
You can't tell 100% whether or not the ball hit the ground is what I'm saying. You clearly see his arm move underneath the ball, but you can't tell.
What I'm getting at is after Hocculi made the call to overturn the original call, there wasn't conclusive evidence to change Hocculis call and I get that. I'm not sure what Hocculi saw, but either way I look at it - that call was too close for me to sway one way or the other on it. The only call I'm really pissed about is the fact that we never got the facemask call. You're all worried about not getting a meaningless 2PC and not worried at all about the fact that they didn't throw the flag when our franchise quarterback almost had his neck broken by Hardy.

RE: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
Meaningless? Far from it. It was either a 2 score or 3 score game. It was a terrible call and killed are momentum.

Re: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
My problem with the call was that Hoculi overruled the ref that called it a catch even though that ref was right there and Hoculi was nowhere near the play (unless I miss that).
I'm fine with the replay being inconclusive. I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the game but it wouldn't be the first time that Hoculi did that. |

You change that call and its 15 yards, you dont and we know what happened happens. But that 2 pc missed made it a 10 point game instead of an 8 point game. That absolutely killed our momentum....that and the louis murphy play. I live in South Carolina surrounded by Panthers fans and every last one of them said if that 2pc had counted then we would have won and I agree. It wasn't meaningless...it may have been more meaningful than the facemask call. But not to hijack your thread....I think it wasnt a facemask call |

RE: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
Bring back the replacement refs! They would have gotten better and at least they called an unbiased game. I could live with it.
I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't! |

RE: The Greg Hardy Facemask playy
Gotta love how the same media that wanted to tar and feather the replacement refs on a weekly basis has had jack-shit to say about same level of officiating by the biased set of union goons. Possibly because these guys are following the script now?
