Good point. Plus Chan Gailey and Norv Turner are proof that teams will hire you even if you have failed repeatedly.

RE: The Falcons next OC is about to be Available
There are two issues with Friedgen whom I really like as an OC:

1- I think this current regime will do whatever it can to preserve continuity for Ryan and core players around him. Having Friedgen will disturb that continuity. It may get even better but I don't think this regime will take the risk. They'll go with someone who can provide that continuity.

2- This might be a bit politically incorrect, but I think him being very much overweight seriously hurts his chances with an organization that is as image-concious as falcons are, at least for a top coaching job.

You might be right about that. Friedgen had lost over 100 pounds last year. I haven't seem him lately, so i don't know if he gained any of that weight back.

Knew Ralph was the coach at Maryland and I had heard he was on his way out. I was unfamiliar with his background though. If Mularkey does go somewhere i would not have an issue with Him coming here, i would think Musgrave would probably get first dibs though...

Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking over his coaching stints, I'd have to assume nothing would change all that much. We'd have a balanced offense just like we do now. I will say that it looks like he only really coached one good offense for SD in 1994.

Didn't realize how much he just followed Bobby Ross around, although it did work out for him.
